We believe young people deserve a space to understand India's choices, question them, and imagine alternative futures. Since 2024, IFPP has been building a community of students and emerging thinkers from across Indian campuses who pose bold questions, challenge dominant narratives, and promote critical engagement.

Campuses across the Globe
Founded in 2024 by a group of students, the Indian Foreign Policy Project (IFPP) began with a core conviction: international relations shouldn't be confined to closed circles. The way India engages with the world affects all of us: the prices we pay, the jobs we get, the safety of our people abroad, the decisions that define our future. Young people deserve a space to understand these choices, reflect on them, and build the space needed for alternative futures.
Today, IFPP is a non-partisan community of over 7,000 young people across India and South Asia. We simplify the complexities of global events through:
Speaker Series: Open and free sessions featuring former foreign ministers, ambassadors, and award-winning journalists.
The India Way Magazine: A platform for critical discourse and youth perspectives on global affairs.
Workshops, Fellowships & Dialogues: Interactive programs designed to build curiosity, empathy, and critical thinking led by experts from South Asia and beyond.
Published biannually, IFPP's The India Way features pieces on Indian foreign policy, geopolitics, climate change, and South Asia, authored by young IR minds from across India.

Through partnerships with leading think tanks and civil society organisations, IFPP members gain direct access to the policy world. We frequently facilitate attendance at high-level panels and roundtables hosted by institutions such as the India International Centre (IIC), the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), and CSDR.
Recent highlights include participating in ORF’s Raisina Dialogue, British Council conferences, and the 50th Sapru House Lecture featuring Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim. Our inaugural delegation attended a discussion with Amb. Ruchira Kamboj at the IIC, marking our commitment to connecting students with senior diplomats.
