Internship Programme

IFPP's virtual internship program, offered primarily to passionate undergraduates and exceptional high schoolers, is designed to inspire critical thinking toward global issues. Research interns explore different aspects of Indian foreign policy, its strategic partnerships, and both economic and soft power influence over South Asia. Interns under other divisions also interact heavily with matters of international affairs and bring creative interpretations of world events, through art, graphics, animations, and the like.

Our internship programs are virtual and volunteer-based. We hope to provide basic remuneration in the future as IFPP expands.

Upon completion of the minimum internship guidelines, all interns will receive a certificate of completion. Select interns will also receive a Letter of Recommendation from their editors.

Fall Internships has stopped accepting applications.

Demographic Report

Summer Interns 2024

Diversity and inclusion are central to IFPP's commitment to fostering a foreign policy and IR community that is more representative of our society. Via our onboarding survey, we asked our interns a) where they live, b) their educational qualifications, and c) their gender identity.
