IFPP is a rapidly expanding foreign policy organisation with a robust membership program. We aim to include many of the top leaders in international affairs as individual members who will engage in debates on key policy and governance issues. Our memberships offer a unique platform for connecting active youth with global influencers, renowned thinkers, and experienced professionals.
IFPP offers two types of membership: advisory membership for seasoned professionals (life) and core membership for young, emerging leaders in international affairs (term).
Membership Criteria
IFPP prioritizes quality, diversity, and balance in its membership. The criteria for membership include intellectual achievement and expertise, level of experience, interest, and current involvement in international affairs, potential for future accomplishments and service in foreign relations, ability to contribute to IFPP’s work, willingness and capacity to engage in IFPP activities, and standing among peers. New IFPP members are elected by the Founding Committee.
Advisory Members are academics, leaders and seasoned professionals who take part in IFPP events, advise on the trajectory of our growth, and help build a stronger and widespread IR community in India.
Membership is by invitation from the Founding Committee/Board.
Core Members are full-functioning members of IFPP primarily working under any one of our five divisions. They handle duties, lead initiatives, and handle the day-to-day functioning of the Project.
The minimum term is six months, unless specified otherwise. Apply when we open induction forms!
Become a Donor & Help Fund the Project!
The Indian Foreign Policy Project is powered by young people and sustained entirely through crowd-sourced funding. We have no institutional backing, and our growth depends on the support of individuals who believe in an independent, youth-led voice in global affairs. Your contribution directly keeps IFPP alive and growing.
